On a sunny afternoon at Lambeau Field, Leonard Fournette and the rumbling LSU Tigers marched onto the field to play a neutral site/road game against the Wisconsin Badgers.

IL 52, Murray State 3: Wes Lunt threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns, and Kendrick Foster ran for two 56-yard touchdowns at Champaign, Ill., to give new coach Lovie Smith his first win.

Heisman Trophy hopeful Leonard Fournette ran for 138 yards on 23 carries but limped off on his final carry, a 15-yard run with less than 2 minutes left. “We just have to execute and come out with the win”.

“It was not what we wanted”, Miles said.

“The guys did a tremendous job”, Shelton said. Brian StultzI don’t think the city of Green Bay knows what is about to hit it with LSU fans coming in droves for the season opener. Defensive end Lewis Neal insisted the team was ready but simply executed poorly.

Or maybe it’s already too late. Les Miles and the Tigers are expecting a tough game and they are going to get it from the Badgers and their faithful. “Our goal is to win it all and to go undefeated”.

White did all he could. “A little scuffle broke out from the LSU team”.

The entire game wasn’t all bad for Houston as he did make some nice throws.

LSU would lose to the Badgers 16-14 after a long fought game. White then recovered a fumble three plays later at the Wisconsin 41.

Series Record: LSU leads 3-0.

A radio report said he was ready to go back into the game, but never got the chance as quarterback Brandon Harris threw an interception on the next snap. Badgers running back Corey Clement – who entered the game having made his shared stage with Fournette a personal matter – rushed 21 times for 86 yards and a touchdown.

“It was a lot of fun”, Houston said.

Senior Wisconsin linebacker Vince Biegel is known for his wild hairstyles as much as his pass-rushing prowess. I grew up in Wisconsin.

But in the end, the Badgers celebrated at Lambeau Field, home of the NFL’s Green Bay Packers. “It was such a divine stadium that you have to take in the moment and know where you are at”. And give credit to our fans.

Wisconsin outgained LSU 119 yards to 7 in the first quarter. That’s kind of the best of both worlds right there.

Make that most of the time. The Badgers stuffed twice for no gain on third-and-one and fourth-and-one plays from the LSU 45 late in the second quarter. “I thought there were a couple other ones we might be able to get on them, but I think that’s where he’s at in his development”. “There were spots here and there where we weren’t all on the same page”.

Tigers offensive guard Josh Boutte made it ugly.

“I think it is a pretty special team win for us”, Ingold said. “To be out there playing, and getting the “W” is pretty awesome”. “We have to do some work on that”. He could give offensive coordinator Cam Cameron some ideas where to attack.

“It’s more than a quarterback. We’ve been roommates for two years on the road now, so that bond has been there”. “When you’re number is called, you’ve got to do something so”.
