American Idol season one victor Kelly Clarkson is celebrating the 14th anniversary of her victorious journey on Twitter. Now a global superstar, Clarkson marked her career anniversary on Twitter, Sunday, saying she was “forever grateful” to the talent show. I am forever grateful & blessed!

Since then, the singer has won three Grammy Awards and accumulated 100 Billboard No. 1 hits.

In June, the GRAMMY victor announced that she has signed a new deal with Atlantic Records for a “soulful” new album to be released in 2017.

Clarkson also referred to her RCA deal as an “arranged marriage”, adding: “After winning American Idol there was an arranged marriage that occurred that sometimes worked out and sometimes resulted in the hardest experiences of my life”. Kelly, obviously, has a bright future ahead of her – one that will at least be as successful as the last 14 years have been for her.

The “Heartbeat Song” singer is now married to music manager Brandon Blackstock and is a doting mother to two children, River Rose and Remington, whom she gave birth to this year. That, we can nearly guarantee!

American Idol ran from 2002-2015, airing a full 15 seasons under the leadership of Ryan Seacrest, Brian Dunkleman, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson.
