PM wishes Indian athletes for Rio 2016 Paralympics

The Paralympic contingent will join the other Olympians as they go for gold in Brazil.

Russian Federation will hold a two-day competition next week for its Paralympic squad banned from Rio, a top sports official said Wednesday after Switzerland’s federal court rejected its final appeal.

Tingley will race in the Sonar class for the Games with teammates Scott Lutes of Mahone Bay and Logan Campbell of Saskatoon.

At the London Paralympics, China won 95 gold medals and 231 medals in total. She will also head down to Rio, but as member of the paralympic staff.
