Allegiant Adding New Orleans Flights From Concord As Airport Expands

Allegiant Airline announced Monday it would add a new direct low fare flight from Dayton, OH.to Punta Gorda.

The seasonal service from Cincinnati and Pittsburgh to Puerto Rico will launch December 17, with fares starting as low as $79 one way, according to the company. That flight will offer fares as low as $79 per ticket, starting on December 17th.

“We’re thrilled to now be offering travelers nonstop service to San Juan, and we’re even more pleased to see Allegiant’s continued growth”, said Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, CVG.

As of August 30, Allegiant operates flights from Austin to Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Cincinnati, Orlando and Memphis. Since then, it has added service to Albuquerque, N.M.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Orlando, Fla.; and Memphis, Tenn. That’s up 70 percent from 2014.

Allegiant Air plans to add year-round nonstop service from the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport to Austin, Texas and seasonal nonstop service to Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Portsmouth Airport Operations Manager Andrew Pomeroy said Tuesday he was excited about the addition of the new service.
