49er Bruce Miller arrested for assault

According to KTUV Fox 2, Miller tried to check in at Fisherman’s Wharf Marriott Hotel on Sunday night only to be told the hotel was full. He later allegedly attacked a 70-year-old hotel guest and his son, with both needing hospitalization.

Authorities in San Francisco reportedly arrested San Francisco 49ers fullback Bruce Miller for an alleged assault, per KTVU’s Tara Moriarty. He returned the next morning and allegedly punched a 70-year-old man in the face and broke several of the man’s bones. this according to KTVU.

Citing police sources, KTVU reported Miller was arrested for assault Monday morning.

Miller was previously arrested for spousal assault previous year.

The two men were later taken to the hospital, and Miller was later arrested after fleeing the scene.

He later plead no contest to a misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace, after the woman said there was no physical contact.

“The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the media report regarding Bruce Miller”.

Miller spent the offseason transitioning from fullback to tight end in Chip Kelly’s offense, which doesn’t utilize a fullback. Every position group has a representative.
