A home intruder has been arrested in the United States after allegedly breaking a house, painting a family’s dog purple, then stealing and crashing a vehicle.
It’s unclear whether Reagan has a lawyer who could comment.
They say they received a report around 2:30 p.m. of a stolen vehicle that crashed at the end of Firehouse Lane and that the suspect fled on foot.
While the search continued for Reagan, a person living on Webaqua Road called police and said a man was looking in the window at the home.
Officers met with the victim who told them they got home and found a ground level window forced in.
Investigating officers of the house break spoke to a neighbor who reported a male knocked on their door and asked for a male who didn’t reside at the residence.
Officers arrested Felix Reagan following the incident.
Through interviews with witnesses, cops identified Felix Reagan as a suspect.
Officers said they also received reports of two additional break-ins on Webaqua Road. He was charged with breaking and entering, a felony; theft of a motor vehicle; destruction of property; animal cruelty; possession of controlled substances; and assault and battery on a police officer. Reagan was carrying prescription pills, a driver’s license and credit cards stolen from the house, police said. Reagan also had purple paint on his trousers which was consistent with the paint that was found on the dog from the Pinewood Lane break-in, said police. Records show Reagan, 19, was living in Oak Bluffs at the time of the June break-in.
During the drive to the police station, Reagan kicked police and attempted to kick out the auto windows, adding to a lengthy list of charges laid against him.
