Alolan Rattata And New Z-Moves Revealed For Pokemon Sun And Moon

The footage, which was uploaded on the developer’s official YouTube channel on Thursday, September 1, shows off new Pokemon and Alola forms, and unveils the Z-Moves of two pocket monsters. Well, it comes with the held item “Snorlium Z”, which if it is holding when it evolves into Snorlax will teach it the Z-move “Pulverizing Pancake”.

Bonus Munchlax has the “Hold Back” and “Happy Hour” moves. Players are to evolve that Munchlax and have it hold the Snorlium Z to access Snorlax’s Signature Z move.

Pokemon Sun and Moon is just a over a couple of months away from its launch, and Nintendo is revealing as much details about the game as possible to keep the hype train going.

So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Pokemon game OSTs are highly valued and sought out- this is music that we all like to listen to. The other, Pulverizing Pancake, is an attack that only lovable oaf Snorlax can perform, and represents one of the greatest things we’ve ever seen in a video game. Dubbed as Stoked Sparksurfer, the move features Raichu riding its tail, surfing through the air while generating electricity all over its body in time for its physical attack against an opponent.

The Munchlax being gifted will also know the move Happy Hour, another move it normally couldn’t learn. The Alolan Rattata will turn into a Dark and Normal-type Pokemon with abilities like hustle and gluttony. This dark/normal variant of the rat-like creature is found in urban areas of Sun/Moon’s Alola region. “They pay no attention to foods that aren’t fresh”, reads a line from its description.
