Clinton during coughing fit: ‘I think I’m allergic to Trump’
Behind Clinton, running mate Tim Kaine clapped while the audience laughed in response.

Former President Bill Clinton went after Donald Trump on Monday, charging that the GOP nominee “damaged America” with his trip to Mexico and subsequent hard-line immigration speech last week. “We’re working very hard”, he said.
An immigration speech Trump gave following his trip to Mexico, however, drew criticism from some of his Hispanic supporters and several backers advising him on the issue chose to part ways with his campaign. The Virginia senator, who hadn’t been seen with her since a bus trip at the end of the July, boarded the plane while Clinton was still on it, then deplaned with her minutes later.
Clinton said he was “dumbfounded” when Trump went to Mexico to meet with President Enrique Peña Nieto last week and then returned to the USA and gave “the same old speech”, a highly-touted immigration address that reinforced many of Trump’s most conservative policy proposals on immigration.
Today is also another turning point for the Clinton campaign.
Trump noted that Obama couldn’t use his traditional staircase to exit Air Force One when he arrived in China over the weekend.
Trump called it “a sign of such disrespect”.

‘Boy we have 63 days to go.’ The coughing persisted.
Biden said Kaine has more experience that any vice presidential nominee in the past, something Democrats frequently say about Clinton in her quest for the presidency.
“It’s kind of interesting to have all the planes here on the same tarmac”, Kaine said as he walked over to greet Clinton.
“I promise you, every country in the world was looking at him and said, ‘This is not the America I know”. The color scheme is described as scion blue and white, and it is prominently adorned with Clinton’s “Stronger Together” slogan and the campaign’s “H” logo.
Clinton flew in her new plane and to mark the occasion, she agreed to take a few questions from the travelling press.
Former president Bill Clinton will be in Detroit, Michigan Monday morning for a Labor Day parade, and then he travels to Coney Island Amusement Park in Cincinnati later in the day for a Labor Day picnic. The plane was soon en route to Cleveland, the first of two cities the candidate plans to visit on Labor Day.
Trump is also expected to campaign at a fair in Youngstown, Ohio, in a nod to the state’s role as a make-or-break proving ground for Republican presidential candidates. It was a near-encounter that even forced the Trump press corps to the side of the road as Clinton’s motorcade whizzed by.

The Labor Day holiday is the traditional kickoff to the frenzied, last stretch of campaigning ahead of the November 8 election, and both Trump and Clinton chose to begin their day in Cleveland.
