Poll shows young American views on immigration

The Commission on Presidential Debates says that in order for a candidate to participate in the debates, they have to be polling at 15 percent. Trump is being hounded by the media, a treatment not too different from the one that Senator Bernie Sanders faced. Overall, there has been a shift of 0.6 percent upward for Clinton and 2.5 percent down for Trump over the course of a full seven-day sample. Just 27 percent responded with a positive word, such as “great” and “agree”. “I’m not suggesting that Trump’s going to carry the state”. There will be no amnesty.

“There’s a renewed focus on Hillary Clinton and her problems, which I think has been beneficial”, said Matt Borges, the chairman of Ohio’s Republican Party. “An eight-page draft script obtained by The New York Times shows 12 questions that Bishop Wayne T. Jackson, the pastor, intends to ask Mr. Trump in the taped question-and-answer session, as well as the responses Mr. Trump is being advised to give”. And instead of letting Mr. Trump be his freewheeling self, his campaign prepared lengthy answers for the submitted questions, consulting black Republicans to make sure he says the right things.

Clinton continues to lead Trump among those under 40, while Trump is ahead among older voters. The same poll shows Trump trailing Clinton in the district by 8 points. Hillary’s younger supporters are conspicuously lukewarm about her, much more so than Trump’s younger supporters are about him. It’s likely there will be many polls released next week to mark that campaign kickoff, and since voters typically begin tuning in more closely to the campaign once the summer ends, those figures will be more meaningful for all candidates.

She added: “Voters have seen firsthand that their Republican member of Congress has their back, and they will reward that hard work this fall”.

Clinton had a 5 percentage point lead over Trump (43 percent to 38 percent) in the Monmouth University poll of Wisconsin voters.

With a large roughly 60 Republican majority in the House, the math is tough for House Democrats to retake the chamber – they need to pick up 30 seats. The federal investigation found that some emails sent or received by Clinton included classified information, however, no criminal charges were recommended.

Alfonso Aguilar, the president of the Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, told CNN he felt misled by Trump’s campaign after vows from the Republican nominee that he would soften his stance toward illegal immigrants.

Kasich, who has refused to endorse Trump and wouldn’t participate in the party’s convention in Cleveland, has said Trump will do well in parts of the state.
