According to Kuo, the iPhone 7 will come with many upgrades, but it may be hard for general users to feel the differences significantly as the overall design is similar to the iPhone 6s, Mac Rumors reported.

As many Apple fans already know, the longest and most repeated iPhone 7 rumor is that the next-generation device will ship without a headphone jack, and today Apple may have accidentally confirmed the reports ahead of its upcoming keynote on September 7.

But reports from analysts and other Apple watchers indicate that Apple’s actually not going to offer that much of an overhaul to its phones, but will instead likely introduce two phones that look an very bad lot like its current iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

The new phone will come with two colour options – “dark black” and glossy “piano black”, replacing the old Space Grey. However, there is said to be a limited amount of piano black iPhones and the phone might not be available in higher storage capacities.

Speaking of which, the iPhone 7 looks set to finally dump the 16GB model in favour of 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options.

The reports claimed that the new iPhones will feature dual-lens camera technology, enabling improved photo taking, particularly by supporting optical zoom in a similar way to digital cameras.

According to KGI, the new iPhone 7 devices will each come with Lightning EarPods and an adapter for Lighting-to-Headphone connection to compensate for the devices’ lack of the typical 3.5 mm jack. It is rumoured that the new models will feature Apple’s newest A10 processor, along with 2GB of RAM.

The smaller iPhone will also get a camera update.

The most anticipated feature of the iPhone 7 is the disappearance of the 3.5mm headphone jack.

The phone is said to boast IPX7 water resistance which would see the phone being labelled as waterproof with the patenting leaks.

Non-clicking TouchID button – The Touch ID button on the front, that also works as a home button has to be clicked to unlock the screen. Fortunately, we’re mere days away from the big iPhone 7 reveal, so we’ll see how accurate they are the day after tomorrow.

It is unclear whether these features will appear on the 4.7-inch iPhone or just the 5.5-inch iPhone.
