UFC star comes to injured girl’s rescue
The girl, Kai, apparently broke her arm during a recent hike, which is when Tate and Co. stumbled upon the mother trying to carry her on her own down Mount Charleston in Nevada.

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate is regarded as a kind and giving soul by her peers. Kai and I learned a lot about each other on the roughly 2 mile descent and it’s fair to say she inspired me.
Tate wrote on her Facebook page that the girl’s mother asked her daughter who would she rather have carry her down and the girl immediately said “I want HER to carry me”.
“We made it all the way down without slipping or falling!”
The 30-year-old didn’t hesitate in offering a helping hand to the “meekly built” mother, taking the wounded girl in her arms and carting her the remaining 4.2km worth of trail to her vehicle, where she was whisked away to hospital for medical attention. “We agreed we would both be strong for each other!” Such an fantastic and humble person to have met. Kai was with her family, who was hoping to make the almost three-mile trek for medical attention, when Tate arrived to provide assistance.
Miesha Tate might just be able to turn to a superhero career once she’s done fighting in the cage.
Earlier today, Tate posted a thank-you video she received from Kai along with a message directed at anyone who takes issue with Tate and her athletic build.
