Hillary Clinton, Tim Kaine make Cleveland campaign stop
“Every time I think of Trump, I get allergic”, Clinton croaked in between coughs, after drinking some water and patting her chest. The most recent polls indicate Trump continues to struggle to attract minority supporters. “Hillary Clinton is winning their voters 73-9 with Jill Stein at 6% and Gary Johnson at 3%”, according to a press release from the Public Policy Polling.

Later in the day, Clinton and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will hold separate events in OH – like Pennsylvania a key battle-ground state whose economy relies in large part on manufacturing and where the labor vote is essential toward winning the state. Trump said after maneuvering through a crowd of people who shouted his name, against a backdrop of food stands offering fare ranging from chicken on a stick to Italian sausages, fudge and fresh corn.
Clinton is expected to attend the Labor Day festival in Cleveland alongside running mate Tim Kaine and AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka.
But for now, the Trump campaign is clearly both relieved and thrilled to see their candidate cut Clinton’s lead that had begun to look insurmountable, and even overtake her. Clinton’s press corps sits on the back of the aircraft.
Trump told reporters Monday that “on occasion”, he will invite journalists to travel with him.
The start of full-fledged campaigning opens a pivotal month, culminating in the first presidential debate on September 26 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.
Clinton has been pressured by media critics and Republicans alike to hold a news conference for the first time in 2016.
Trump’s rebound from a series of self-inflicted wounds has followed the hiring of a new campaign management team, and the Republican nominee is showing more discipline on the stump, reading his rally speeches from teleprompters.
Trump has been helped by what his campaign said was a positive week last week, highlighted by a quick trip to Mexico, appearing side by side with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, and a visit to a black church in Detroit.
Trump aide Jason Miller said rising poll numbers showed that the campaign was moving in the right direction. Beyond Russia, she answered questions about the ongoing controversy surrounding her use of a private email server while secretary of state, which Trump has used to cast doubt over her ability to protect classified information.

The former secretary of state, who has been markedly press averse for much of her campaign, joked with reporters on board that she had “been just waiting for this moment”.
