‘He can’t even go to a foreign country without getting into a public feud with the president, ‘ she said.

On Monday, Trump+ followed Clinton’s lead, inviting some journalists aboard his private jet where he discussed his immigration platform. The billionaire businessman appeared to pivot away from his hard-line position on immigration, saying, “I’m all about jobs now”. He has called for a wall to be built on the border that would be paid for by Mexico. Any immigrants who want full citizenship must return to their countries of origin and get in line, he told reporters – but he would not rule out a pathway to legal status for the millions living in the US illegally, as he did in a long-awaited policy speech last week. But of the millions more living in the country illegally, he would not rule out a pathway to legal status.

“I’m going to continue to focus on what we’re doing to create jobs here at home”, Clinton said.

“We are going to have to take those threats and attacks seriously”, she told reporters travelling with her from OH to IL. Clinton added that “when Putin was asked about it, he could barely muster the energy to deny it, if any of you saw it”.

“I think we’ve had a great month”, Trump said. He later said he was being sarcastic. “This is like Watergate, only in cyber time”, she said.

The disclosure from Bondi’s spokesman to The Associated Press in June provided additional details around the unusual circumstances of Trump’s $25,000 donation to Bondi.

“She will make the largest investment in infrastructure”, he said.

“Many of the attorney generals turned that case down ’cause I’ll win that case in court”, he said.

Mr Trump told reporters he does plan to take part in all three presidential debates, joking that only a “hurricane” or “natural disaster” would prevent him from attending. The Democratic nominee compared the hacks to an electronic version of Watergate, when Republican operatives sent burglars to break into the DNC offices in the early 1970s.

“I’ll say it again: a man who can be provoked by a tweet should not be anywhere near nuclear weapons.I mean, just look at what happened: He got into a twitter war with the president of Mexico, and why?”

As for preparation, Trump said he does not believe in doing mock debates, as is tradition for many candidates.

It will be interesting to see if dislike for the candidates and concerns about their competency will be the driving factor to get people out to vote November 8. The latest Reuters-Ipsos poll showed Trump with 40 percent support vs 39 percent for Clinton, effectively ending Clinton’s bump up in the polls after the Democratic nominating convention. “She doesn’t have a clue”. And she cited his warm words for Mr. Putin, and noted places where his positions that line up with Russian interests, such as pulling back the USA commitment to North Atlantic Treaty Organisation members.

After hinting last month that he might not participate in all of them, Trump told reporters he was on board. “And she didn’t have the energy to go to Mexico”.
