Mike McCarthy says Jordy Nelson is 100 percent for Week One
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson appears set to see his first game action since January 2015 this Sunday.

“We expect him to line up and be full bore in Jacksonville”, McCarthy said. McCarthy described Nelson as “full go” at practice. This year, the Packers are optimistic that Nelson can be healthy for the entire season.
This, however, is far from normal for Nelson, who hasn’t played a down in a game since he tore the ACL in his right knee on August 23, 2015. Although he declined to provide specifics, it kept Nelson off the field until mid-August. Jeff Janis has a broken right hand and Trevor Davis sustained a shoulder injury in the preseason finale at Kansas City. “It’s Packers friendly and it makes us very proud to do it”, Bruce Kiehl said.

According to McCarthy, Nelson will be one of them. Nelson suggested earlier this summer that the opener at Jacksonville would be especially taxing on his conditioning given the expected heat in Florida in early September.
