Samsung announces new Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+
The problem, for some buyers, is that the Galaxy S6 edge+ doesn’t have an S Pen stylus.

Andy Griffiths, Samsung president in the UK and Ireland, said: “At Samsung, we’re committed to offering our customers a best-in-class technology experience, providing the ultimate on-the-go immersive multimedia viewing experience“. This is a cut above the S6 Edge’s 5.1-inch screen.
The maker says its new handset is capable of a full charge in 90 minutes, which is almost 30% faster than the charging on Samsung’s original S6.
With the launch of the original Galaxy Note series in 2011, we created a whole new category that set a new industry standard, which all others have followed. Instead, citing marketing reasons, Samsung is going to focus on the Galaxy S6 edge+ in the region.
Samsung is hoping not just to gain sales before the next iPhone models but to do so at higher prices which could boost margins in the short-term. The Note 5 has a built-in 5.7-inch Quad HB Super AMOLED display that’s housed by the same metal frame and glass front utilized by the Galaxy S6.
The second is the latest edition to Samsung’s Note range of phablets, the Note 5.
It also runs Samsung’s Exynos 7, 64-bit processor and comes with a choice of 32 or 64 GB storage, but has no memory card slot.
In an interesting move that harks back to pre-touchscreen only phones, Samsung has unveiled a physical keyboard accesory (shown here on the Galaxy S6 edge+) that simply fits over the bottom of the screen.
The South Korean electronics titan is launching its own pay-using-your-phone product later this month in Korea, and on September 28 in the United States.
