“That’s never going to happen”, he said.

For Tucci, his argument against a sequel is a simple one that boils down to: why mess with perfection?

He added: “That role was so great because it was so beautifully written and he was incredibly amusing and there was a real substance to it”. Matthew McConaughey was not in Deauville to present the movie because he’s now shooting a film, said the distributor, Metropolitan Filmexport. “Perfect in every way”.

According to Variety, the 55-year-old “Transformers” actor will reprise the role of Kinetic Solutions Incorporated boss Joshua Joyce in the upcoming sequel.

According to Variety, the Academy Award victor announced that he is returning to the franchise when he accepted a career tribute at this year’s Deauville Film Festival in Paris, France on Saturday, Sept. 3.

The Oscar nominee was at the French festival, which showcases the best of American cinema, to receive a lifetime achievement honour, but said the award was undeserved.

“Cinema is a collaborative art form”, he said, noting the team spirit often found on film sets. “I don’t feel like I’ve achieved enough to warrant this, but I’m glad of it”.

Stars Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt suggested they’d be up for it if the second book, “Revenge Wears Prada”, was ever made into a film.

Tucci, personally, has no interested in revisiting the role he played – caustic art director Nigel – and for good reason.

“It’s very amusing and a fascinating story”, he said of the show, which follows the infamous rivalry between Davis and Crawford as they filmed the 1962 classic What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? “It’s very satisfying to play the mean, amusing guy”. [Warner] is frightful, but he’s really amusing. He would not, however, divulge which studio heads he would use as inspiration.
