Initially, rumors were rife that Jerry Jones wanted Geno Smith to find redemption in his team. “Some of the other things we can do that we don’t have to depend on that experience are there and alive in this team”. That would give the Cowboys an additional roster spot. Jackson tore a pectoral muscle early in camp.
SEASONED SECONDARY: The most experienced part of the defense is the secondary with CBs Orlando Scandrick, Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne, and S Barry Church.
The Chiefs announced a series of roster moves Saturday to reach the NFL’s limit of 53 players, though they actually have 54 on the active roster. Culliver, recovering from a serious knee injury last Thanksgiving, will be eligible to begin practicing after the sixth game. The team must exercise maximum caution when it comes to potentially bringing Romo back too soon, but there is no reason to be overly cautious.
