It seems in the Friday the 13th: The Game is taking no prisoners, and is bringing the slasher genre back to a more blood-forgiving century. Not only does the footage have grainy, neon VHS effects and a power metal panache, but also, most importantly, it shows off some of Friday the 13th: The Game’s gruesome kills from the title’s main character Jason Voorhees. They sound just like the kind of rock band that would have been popular in the 1980s, and the vibe fits perfectly with all the killing from Jason Vorhees.
In its revival of the old school slasher franchise, Gun Media and Illfonic, have given 80’s horror fans a chance to control the hockey-mask clad psychopath, Jason Voorhees, in this asymmetrical multiplayer game. So watch at ths Friday the 13th video game trailer your own risk.
