Hillary Clinton invited journalists on the board of her new plane

Highlighting the intensity of the fight for battleground states like Ohio, Trump was already on the ground in Cleveland for his own campaign events when Clinton landed, their planes parking about two football fields apart on the tarmac. “There are so many of them that I’ve lost track of them”, she told journalists, chalking up her coughing to seasonal allergies.

Clinton’s conversation with reporters was cut shot during her flight because she had a fit of coughs while answering a question.

Clinton’s coughing has been one of several subjects of discussion related to questions about her overall health. She has mostly traveled by private jet during the primaries and the summer but was being accompanied on the plane by journalists for the first time.

“We are facing a very serious concern”.

And she implied Moscow was trying to help get Trump elected. Previously, Clinton and the reporters had travelled separately. She prefers relying on technology and more border patrol agents to ensure the border is secure. He backed off his earlier pledge to forcibly remove all of the estimated 11 million immigrants in the country illegally, however, saying only that those who aren’t immediate threats would have to go home and then apply for legal status. Trump said after maneuvering through a crowd of people who shouted his name, against a backdrop of food stands offering fare ranging from chicken on a stick to Italian sausages, fudge and fresh corn.

Trump, meanwhile, addressed his proposed border wall plan in an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America.

No Republican candidate has ever won the White House without winning OH, and right now Trump is slightly behind Clinton there with 40.7 percent of the prospective votes to her 44 percent, according to the Real Clear PoliticsWeb site, based on voter surveys.

After eating a gyro at a diner in the Cleveland area, Trump rallied thousands of cheering supporters at a county fair in Canfield, and Clinton visited a brewery in Cleveland. “I think it’s pretty cool, don’t you?”

“Not only did Trump mess up his first worldwide engagement”.

But both Clinton and GOP rival Donald Trump know there are countless ways the trajectory of this uncommonly volatile presidential campaign still could shift in unexpected ways. And she cited his warm words for Mr. Putin, and noted places where his positions that line up with Russian interests, such as pulling back the US commitment to North Atlantic Treaty Organisation members. For a time, their planes were parked about 200 yards apart at the Cleveland airport, a sign of Ohio’s importance in the election.

Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown of OH said there was “more pressure on Trump” than Clinton to win there.

On Monday, Trump said he likes and respects the moderators who have been announced.

Mrs. Clinton cited Mr. Putin’s comments about the hack as evidence he must be behind it. Mr. Putin last week said the hack of the party’s headquarters was a public service, but denied any Russian role in the cyberattacks.
