Green Arrow could be competing on ‘American Ninja Warrior’
After Warner Bros had chose to cast Ezra Miller as the new Barry Allen in the DCEU movie in place of Grant Gustin, Amell had even gone on record to say that “it should be Grant doing the movie”. However, during a panel at Comic-Con in Salt Lake, Stephen Amell took time to reconsider his words: “I was not angry when they did not choose Grant for the film What I. wanted to say is that the timing of the announcement was pretty bad. I just thought the timing was far from adequate and I think always”.

Comicbook.com reports that Amell said: “That [question is] actually something that people bring up on a regular basis.that DC has told us you can’t have or you must get rid of [this character]”. Given the amount of training that Amell goes through to play Oliver Queen, we do think he’d have a good shot at this. Somebody will play it after me.
As Oliver Queen, Amell has appeared across all of The CW’s DC Comics shared universe shows, sometimes referred to as the Arrowverse, including The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. There has been some loose talk of a DC Comics multiverse that encompasses all of the television series and possibly the DC Extended Universe, though that has never been acknowledged textually. Assuming the viewership will stand by the choice, one can only hope NBC will make this happen and allow the Green Arrow to prove himself in the ultimate hero’s challenge.

Meanwhile, DCTV seems to have a lot on its plate with the upcoming premiere of the The Flash season 3 on 4 October, Arrow season 5 on 5 October on CW.
