China Blames US, Journalists for Obama Airport Fiasco
“I would say it is hard for the G-20 to come up with a coordinated action plan because numerous countries are caught up in domestic issues”, Biswas said. And most of the world leaders – including President Obama – are in favor of upholding trade deals and speak strongly on the importance of worldwide cooperation.

U.S. President Barack Obama said on Monday that U.S. trading partners in Asia did not need to be persuaded of the benefits of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, just that Washington would eventually approve the trade pact.
The Group of 20 leading economies will set up a global forum to combat world industrial oversupply, a senior European Union diplomat said Monday at a summit in China. Chinese officials say they want the G-20, created to co-ordinate the response to the 2008 financial crisis, to take on a longer-term regulatory role.
British Prime Minister Theresa May has traveled to China to attend the G20 Summit in Hangzhou.
Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe is understood to have pushed for greater clarity about Mrs May’s plans during a brief meeting after his administration earlier issued a 15-page document setting out the assurances on the future of the economy being sought by Japanese companies operating in the UK.
But there is disagreement over why another staircase, which the USA ships in to use with the plane, was not used in the first place, as normally happens when an American President travels to foreign countries.
Discussions at the meeting were distracted by North Korea test-firing three medium-range ballistic missiles in a defiant reminder of the risks to global security.
At around the same time, Chinese President Xi Jinping was telling his South Korean counterpart, Park Gyun-hye, that China is opposed to the deployment of a powerful USA anti-missile system in South Korea.
China has warned Seoul against installing the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, or THAAD, system.
In his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Obama raised disputes over cyberwarfare, maritime aggression and human rights.
While Seoul and Washington say the system is intended exclusively to defend against North Korea’s missile threat, Beijing says it will allow the US military to peer deep into northeastern China.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump opposes worldwide trade deals like the Trans-Pacific Partnership – a pact involving 11 countries across four continents.
The official also said Xi had told May that China would remain patient while her government gets to grips with decisions taken by her predecessor.
