Strictly Come Dancing 2016: BBC slam James Jordan’s ‘rubbish’ fix claim

Strictly Come Dancing returned to the BBC last night (4 September), with a record 9.3 million viewers tuning in to the launch of its 14th season. On Saturday’s launch show Daisy made sure to keep her grandfather close by and said she would be dancing for him.

Winkleman, who lists The Godfather and The Shawshank Redemption as her favourite films, said: “I’m incredibly sad about leaving the film show and it wasn’t an easy decision”. Now we’ve spent a day with them, I’m in love with Tameka Empson.

After being told her beloved grandfather Eddie Davis had passed away of a heart attack, the Jewish model told The Mirror: ‘I’m going to be dancing for him.

When he played football I wasn’t massively there every week in the front row with my Liverpool shirt on.

“She is really keen to spend more time with Matilda, Jake and Arthur but the stress of juggling two jobs has made this increasingly hard”.

Lesley Joseph, who played Dorien Green in the sitcom Birds of Feather, said that she had entered the show seeking a positive experience after “a tough year”.

James is married to fellow Strictly star Ola Jordan who also left the show 2015. My grandma has never missed an episode.

He added: “I showed my family the video of our group dance and they said I looked like a camp rugby player”. “I’d like to dance to some of his favourite songs”.

The model says she is also grateful to her Strictly “family” – with Louise Redknapp in particular helping her through the hard time. She got on the phone and said: “You are not coming home; you have to finish the day; he would want you to be there”. We hope that it’s not Alesha after she ditched the show in favour of Britain’s Got Talent and a seat by the side of Simon Cowell.

Louise also said she will be shunning the revealing costumes that are commonplace on the show, saying: “I’m the boring one”.
