Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton turn to battleground states
– Donald Trump would endanger USA troops and American political and economic partners if elected president by ignoring long alliances and pursuing his own interests, Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine said Tuesday.

Clinton also responded to House Government Oversight and Reform Chairman Rep. Jason Chaffetz’s request to the USA attorney for a new investigation into whether Clinton and her employees obstructed justice in the course of the FBI’s investigation into her private email server.
Hillary Clinton is blasting Donald Trump for saying that he would have left a G-20 summit in China after a logistical flap over the staircase that President Barack Obama used to depart Air Force One.
Spokeswoman Katrina Pierson, for example, said last month that Clinton has brain damage that impairs her communication abilities.
“Every time I think about Trump I get allergic”, she said while trying to catch her breath in Cleveland. Voters prefer Ms. Clinton on immigration policy, 49-47, and her solid lead is on foreign policy.
“Hillary likes to play tough with Russia”, Trump said.
Clinton and her aides note that Trump has been friendly with Putin and Russian Federation, to the point where he suggested – jokingly – that they hack into the Democratic candidate’s emails.
Summary results don’t break down demographics by state, but notes Clinton does 19 points better among white college graduates than whites without degrees.
Donald Trump launched a weeklong series of events Tuesday devoted to military policy – and to attacking his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton.
Clinton said sometimes these types of logistical dust-ups are “annoying” but they’re not the reason a president attends these types of meetings.
Asked by a reporter if Russia’s actions amounted to a cyberwar, Clinton said, “I’m not comfortable using the word ‘war'”.
Democrats have pounded Trump on national security and aggressively warned voters that he lacks the temperament to control the world’s most powerful military.
Trump won the endorsement Tuesday of 88 retired generals and admirals, who said they believe he will rebuild the country’s military and secure its borders.
Trump followed up in other interviews, saying he was talking about her persona and not her appearance.
“The centerpiece of Trump’s campaign is building a wall and making Mexico pay for it. You need energy, man”, Trump told reporters.
The candidates have less than three weeks to go before the first of three scheduled presidential debates – expected to be the most watched moments of what so far has been a raucous campaign.

More frightening, however, is Trump’s apparent close ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin, ties that aren’t fully known because Trump won’t publicly release his tax returns, Kaine said.
