Witnesses say a crane fell onto the construction site in Ramat Hahayil, which is a high-tech business area in northern Tel Aviv.

Paramedics were called to the scene on Monday morning.
According to the Times of Israel, Mr Odeh said: “Thirty-two people have died since the beginning of the year…” Those killed were not identified but they were likely workers at the construction zone.
The four-story parking garage was still under construction when it collapsed.
“The forces are operating to extract five additional trapped civilians”, it said, adding that more than 300 soldiers from the search-and-rescue battalion were taking part in the operation.
Images of the scene showed an underground vehicle park that had caved in and dozens of rescue workers and security forces at the site in Tel Aviv’s Ramat Hahayal neighbourhood. In all, several dozen police, fire and rescue officials were present to secure the site and scour the rubble for survivors. There weren’t any other people. Another person was critically injured.
“And Yehuda said: ‘The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and there is much rubbish; so that we are not able to build the wall”.
Israel has witnessed multiple incidents that have claimed the lives of many workers, including Palestinians.
United Hatzalah medical service also said “firefighters and rescue teams are working to extricate” those believed missing.

Police were attempting to gain access to the site to find the construction workers who were still unaccounted for. They were found under the rubble, he added.
