Since 2011, Weiner has been the focus of attention in the tabloids and this year he had once again appeared in the news due to the release of a documentary entitled “Weiner” concerning his failed NY mayoral campaign.
Before The New York Post published photos late Sunday that it said Weiner sent a year ago to a woman identified as a “40-something divorcee”, Abedin was spotted outside a Clinton fundraiser at the Southampton home of philanthropist Marcia Riklis. “I know Anthony Weiner well, and she will be far better off without him”. “During this hard time, I ask for respect for our privacy”, Abedin said in a statement released today.
In 2013, as Weiner attempted a political comeback by running for New York City mayor, he allegedly sent photos to a 22-year-old woman under the alias Carlos Danger. In some of the sexually suggestive pictures, the couple’s young son is seen in the background sleeping in a bed.
The newspaper published screenshots of racy photos from Weiner’s alleged exchanges with a brunette woman who is reportedly a supporter of Donald Trump.
One resident told WUSA9, “It’s outrageous and I’m glad she left him”. She apparently told Barbara Morgan, Weiner’s communications director, who was very upset over the whole scandal in 2013, to shape up before leaving their home. He said it’s an example of Hillary Clinton’s bad judgement.
Trump said it’s possible “that our country and its security have been greatly compromised by this”. But now that his campaign of bluster and bigotry isn’t faring well with general election voters, he is desperately grasping at anything he thinks will make a dent in Hillary Clinton’s polling lead.

Frequently by Clinton’s side, Abedin was spotted outside fundraisers for the Democratic presidential nominee on Sunday in the Hamptons, on New York’s Long Island.
Abedin is Clinton’s most well known aide. Ms Abedin, now vice chairwoman of the campaign, served on both of Ms Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaigns – a mark of loyalty and trust that Ms Clinton prizes – and is often referred to as a surrogate daughter.
Mr Weiner did not immediately reply to an email seeking his comment.

Weiner then realized he may have posted the image in a public place – the same bone-headed mistake that brought down his congressional career in 2011. Some reports even say Weiner and Abedin have been “essentially separated” for about a year. Wow!
