Senegalese president reaches Pakistan to discuss bilateral ties
Both countries should maintain close communication and coordination in worldwide affairs and make joint effects to push forward global political and economic orders towards a more just and reasonable direction.

The Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and the Minister for Defence, Chairman Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and Chairman Board of Investment will also call on the President of Senegal. The Chinese side is willing to work with Senegal to elevate bilateral relations into a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, actively implement the outcomes of the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), and deepen bilateral friendly and mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, so as to better benefit the two peoples.
He mentioned that the country had attained self-reliance in production of advanced weapons.
The agreement came at one on one meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President of Senegal Macky Sall in Islamabad.
His visit is the result of an invitation extended to him by the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The PM said that Pakistan could extend technical support to Senegal for establishment of sugar and cement plants and could also help in promoting its agriculture sector. Presently Pakistan’s annual exports to Senegal amount to $29.433 million while imports are at $1.06 million.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif welcomed the distinguished guest at the airbase.

The Senegalese president is accompanying a 34-member delegation.
