Mimli Moudgalya attained ten A*s and two As, Eleanor Fay with an impressive eight A*s and four As, Hana Hassan with seven A*s and five As and Liam Steele, who received seven A*s and four As.

Sunderland students have bucked the national trend with a slight increase in the percentage of pupils achieving A* to C grades.
Over half of the girls achieved A* – B in at least six subjects and numerous subjects, including English, history, biology, religious studies and art and design recorded more than 70% of all papers at A* – B grades.
Headteachers in Cumbria were all smiles yesterday as they found out the GSCE results their students had achieved. I am delighted with the fantastic performance of our Year 11 students.
Students in Ealing have plenty to celebrate today on opening their GCSE results as As and A*s abound.
“I wish our students the very best in their next steps, whether that is staying on in our new sixth form, moving to further education or an apprenticeship or going into paid employment”. They have, as ever, been extremely generous in the giving of their time so that our students have been well prepared for their final exams.

Particular mention should go to Sean Cross who achieved the top results at GCSE with 5 A*, 4 A and 1 B grade and will be returning to St. Mary’s to continue his studies at A Level. I also got full marks in computer science which I’m really proud of.
