Kate Middleton wears Gap trousers for second day of Cornwall visit

It is not the first time Kate has worn an outfit from Lela Rose; the Duchess donned a white lace peplum cocktail dress from the designer to attend the Governor-General’s Farewell Reception during her royal tour of Australia in April 2014.

People Magazine is reporting that Kate Middleton, along with husband Prince William, were visiting Cornwall and Scilly Isles of England where they chose to take on one activity most of us do while traveling – hit the bar.

“Kate poured a pint of Healey’s famous alcoholic Rattler cider, while admitting, ‘I’ve never mastered this!’ She then handed it to William, who took a sip and said it tasted ‘just like it does in the pub, ‘” says the celebrity news magazine. The Duchess of Cambridge showed off her stylish look as she arrived at the Eden Project in Cornwall along with Prince William.

The couple’s two-day visit, dubbed the “Royal mini-tour” ahead of their eight-day Canada tour in a few weeks, has sent them hopscotching across the Cornish coast. “They still hope to visit this afternoon if weather conditions improve”, the palace said in a statement on the amended schedule.

Instead they were given a tour of the Eden Project where they met a baby dinosaur as part of the project’s “Dinosaur Uprising” programme and took in the plants in the Rainforest and Mediterranean biomes. The Duke and Duches’s visit to the Scilly Isles was delayed this morning due to bad weather.

Their itinerary has been scaled back, with events on the main island of St Mary’s cancelled, but they will still carry out engagements on the neighbouring islands of Tresco and St Martin’s. “But she is just in the public eye and I just fancied a selfie”.

“She said George loves dinosaurs and would have loved to be here to meet him”.

Vice-chairman of the British Olympic Association Sir Hugh Robertson was on holiday with his wife and young son James.

Kate said: “We were so sorry we couldn’t come but we were watching all of it on the television at home”.
