Moto G Play launched in India at Rs 8999

This new device from Lenovo boasts of a price tag of Rs 8999, and is slated to go on sale exclusively via Amazon at 10pm today. The Moto G4 Play follows Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus’ lead, and will be available for purchase in India as Amazon India’s exclusive.

The Moto G4 Plus is now selling at Rs.13,499 (2GB RAM+16GB storage) and Rs.14,999 (3GB+32GB) while the Moto G4 which comes with a slightly inferior 13 megapixel camera and doesn’t have the finger print sensor is available at Rs.12,499. The device will be available via Amazon India starting 10 PM tonight for 8,999 INR. This model is $99.99. Moto G4 Play is the more budget friendly version of the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus.

The phone has a 2GB RAM and sports 16GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.

The Motorola Moto Z Play was officially announced at the annual Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin in Germany on the 31st of August.

Talking about the hardware on the device, the Moto G Play is running on a dated Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Lenovo had introduced quite a few devices under the “Moto” brand this year. The front facing camera too comes with incredible selfie experience and an awesome camera clearly accompanied by display Flash feature. Offering a 5.5 inch display with AMOLED technology, the display is one of the finest aspects of the phone even though it offers only 1080p resolution.

The newest mod in the collection was unveiled at IFA 2016 alongside the new Moto Z Play and news that both the Z Play and Moto Z would finally be coming to Europe. Amazon said Tuesday these two phones are its best selling unlocked smartphones, which allow users to connect to the wireless carrier of their choice. After the Launch, Handset will be available in multiple colors with Poly-carbonate Candy-bar Design through Amazon India e-commerce website and you have to spend around 8,999 INR to buy it (No Price details of this smartphone have been revealed). Other connectivity options present on the handset are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microUSB and A-GPS.
