The news came to light in a recent column by Rajeev Masand. After considering how Aanand L Rai had a tough time shooting with Ms Ranaut during Tanu Weds Manu Returns, he’s now planning to finalise Katrina for the role. Reports even say that Kat was very keen to do the film as she had liked the script and her role, but the moment she learnt that Rai has cast Deepika for another female role, she chose to opt out. But due to her extra interest in various aspects of filmmaking-be it the costume, script and the like-the filmmaker is planning to cast the very attractive Katrina for the role.
In an interview with Mirror (May 24), Tanu Weds Manu-filmmaker Aanand L Rai had informed that it would be a long way before he began to film his love story of a dwarf, pointing out that it’s an extremely hard film, both emotionally and technically.
