State police are looking for a suspect in a bank robbery Friday at the Chase Bank at 704 Freedom Plains Road, in the Town of LaGrange. The chase reached speeds of 80 miles per hour, police said.

The robbery at the Key Bank, located at 300 W. Oak Street in Fort Collins, took place Friday at around 3:38 p.m., Sergeant Paul Wood with Fort Collins Police Services told 7NEWS.
According to police, Anderson got out of the vehicle and approached the Trooper and officers while he had a weapon in his hand.
A Manchester officer fired a Taser at the man, but the suspect ripped away the probes and the device had no effect, Davis said.
Police say a tall, white male walked into the bank and demanded cash.
The pursuit turned onto eastbound Middle Turnpike West, continued onto Middle Turnpike East, and then onto Route 44 in Bolton before the suspect crashed near the Route 6 and Route 44 split, police said. State police said he will be temporarily assigned to an administrative duty assignment pending the completion of the investigation due to department policy.

State Trooper Brian Contenta, a five year state police veteran, and Manchester Police Officer Layau Eulizier, in that department for one year, were identified by Grant as the officers who shot Anderson.
