Arsenal Claim First Premier League Victory
Arsenal take on Watford at Vicarage road in the third round of Premier League fixtures and in his pre-match press conference, Arsene Wenger provided injury updates on his team and spoke about the opposition. Watford followers will hope their side can take an inspired second half display into their upcoming matches, beginning with a game against West Ham after the worldwide break.

An inspired first half display by an under pressure Arsenal side was enough to see off London rivals Watford as they put the game to bed in the opening 45 minutes.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez are close to being announced officially and both the defender and the striker will slot straight into the squad.
Arsenal made the flawless start when Ozil, who was making his first start of the season, clipped a handsome ball onto the chest of Sanchez.
Watford have lost all seven of their games against Arsenal in the Premier League. I believe he has a good mixture of short and long balls, in midfield it is important for us to sometimes stretch the defenders.
“Cech played incredible for them, saved a goal two or three times but I am very happy with how our team played”.
” Watford went for it absolutely because we couldn’t score the fourth goal and because we dropped physically and I think that we win games here but they are physically very strong, very determined”.
The Frenchman explained: “This season I thought we had the most easy transfer window ever because we knew what we wanted and who we wanted and it didn’t come off, so you have to restart”. “We have not got any plans for anyone else now”.
“We paid a heavy price in our first game (the 4-3 defeat by Liverpool) because we were not ready”.
Watford’s new club-record signing Roberto Pereyra, who joined for £13m on August 19, made his Premier League debut off the bench against the Gunners and reduced the deficit to 3-1. “The organisational things are still missing and two starting players were out last-minute and this really didn’t help”, Mazzarri said.

Arsenal will respond when they host Southampton on September 10 when Wenger will ask for more of the same as here.
