Apple to unveil new iPhone 7 tomorrow

Apple Inc.is expected to unveil an iPhone without a headphone jack Wednesday, which means any wired headphone you now use won’t plug in directly.

While this could be interpreted as Apple simply predicting a launch more successful than previously anticipated, many speculate that isn’t the case.

Apple has announced on its website that it will livestream the event beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, September 7th.

Mac: You can watch on your Mac if you have OS X v10.8.5 or later and Safari 6.0.5 or later installed on your machine.

Apple is also expected to announce the upgraded version of the Apple Watch which might just be called Apple Watch only.

Microsoft: You can watch all the action if you have Windows 10 installed using the Edge browser.

The iPhone 6S is nearly identical in looks to the iPhone 6 and Kantar figures out this week show the iPhone 6S is the world’s top-selling phone. Rumors are already rolling in for next year’s model, including a glass body with an edge-to-edge screen, no more Home button, integrated Touch ID and wireless charging.
