Apple reveals date for new iPhone launch

Dropping the headphone port is likely to cause a backlash from some people but the pay-off is that the new iPhone is expected to be slightly thinner and probably waterproof. It would be considered troublesome for some users to have to charge a watch every day, so having a more energy efficient Apple Watch would do a great deal for Apple. USA pricing will be announced during the event, while United Kingdom prices will be sent out to journalists later that evening. Apple has now put all the release date rumors to rest.
