Could Apple Drop Headphone Jack In iPhone 7?
The iPhone 7, which Apple will likely launch tomorrow, has a lot to live up to in order to match the sales success of the company’s current flagship handset, the iPhone 6s.

One of the most talked about features on the rumoured iPhone 7 is in fact the lack of a feature – Apple will nearly certainly be ditching the headphone jack in favour of wireless headphones or Lightning port headphones, which will be shipped out with the iPhone 7.
“If Apple does do it, it basically signals that Apple is saying that 3.5 millimeter jack is 100-year-old technology and it’s time to move on”, said Tim Bajarin, President of Creative Strategies.
Some rumors are swirling around about the headphone jack. or lack of?
If this rumor pans out, and if Beats headphones will in fact soon be positioned as a mid-range solution, it stands to reason that Apple’s AirPods will be rather pricey. Of the two, the Apple Watch 2 will come with Global Positioning System, barometer and other new features. They’re already on the market, and they offer a really good listening experience because of the direct connection that also draws power from the phone. There have been no mention regarding some of the new and much awaited features, but the long wait is over as the iPhone 7 is going to be unveiled today at IFA 2016.
And it wouldn’t be the first time Apple has required users to use an adapter to listen to music. The price of the headphones is added onto your monthly bill, and you won’t have to pay more than the retail price – that means no interest, folks.

Apple is also expected to announce the dates when the new models will go on sale, along with its timetable for releasing the next major upgrades to the software for iPhones, iPads, the Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac computers.
