It could happen to anyone: You show up to the concert of your favorite band, you get a little tipsy, and then, when they play your favorite song, you may even shed a slight tear.

Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl shocked one crying fan by inviting him on stage during a gig in Colorado.

Stopping the song to address the fan, Grohl said: “Don’t cry, motherfucker, I know you’re drunk, don’t cry…”

Recognizing a moment in the making when he sees one, Grohl then abandons his speech and decides to finish “My Hero” as a face-to-face serenade. I’m going to sing this to your crying grown man a** right now. I’m gonna sing this f– song right in your face, man to man, prison style, I’m going man to man. Me and you, I want some real tears, you better sing it with me.

It is not the first time of late that the front man has invited a fan onto the stage. “I know you’re drunk. (Laughs) Don’t make me cry, because I promised I wouldn’t do this”.

During an acoustic performance of “My Hero“, Dave Grohl spotted a man in the front row crying.

Bl’ast, who got their start back in the ’80s, are now working on a new studio album. Warning: this video contains profanity.

The fan, whose name is reportedly Anthony, sat down as Grohl sang to him. Fabio and his female companion were greeted by members of Foo Fighters’ crew upon their arrival. The Foo Fighters and their wacky antics but serious effort in music have been delighting audiences since 1995.
