A report filed by Metro Nashville Police said Mohammed Nasser Aldoseri was arrested after United Express flight 3550 out of Cincinnati stopped in Nashville, WTVF reported. He was charged with one count each of public intoxication and disorderly conduct, according to Davidson County court records.

The pilot made a decision to divert the flight when Aldoseri busted the door of an out-of-service bathroom in a commotion that ended with him speaking loudly in Arabic, Nashville Metro Police said.

The flight continued on to Houston about two hours after landing in Nashville. Once police boarded the aircraft, they found Aldoseri passed out in a back-row seat.

“Aldoseri had slurred speech, red glassy eyes, was unsteady on his feet, and I could smell the odor of alcohol on his breath and person”.

The airline released a statement: “The Embraer 170 carrying 53 passengers and four crew members landed normally in BNA (Nashville International Airport), where law enforcement met the aircraft at the gate and removed the passenger from the aircraft”.
