Clinton says Trump is insulting veterans
“I am proud that so many Republicans have said that they can’t support Donald Trump”. One reporter wanted Clinton’s reaction to Trump’s campaign manager’s comment that Clinton is “allergic to media”.

The Republican presidential nominee is unveiling the line of attack in prepared remarks for a speech set for Greenville, N.C. Her conduct, he says, “is disqualifying”. 26 in NY. “And remember, she got rid of these emails after the Federal Bureau of Investigation requested them”.
Clinton will have millions of dollars at her disposal this fall to air television advertising and power a sophisticated get-out-the vote operation in key states.
But Bryce Reeves, a Republican candidate for lieutenant governor of Virginia in 2017 and a former Army Ranger, said national security is a concern across all demographic groups – and one that can give a big boost to Trump.
Trump has edged ahead of Clinton in a new CNN/ORC poll, at 45 per cent to 43 per cent among likely voters, while an NBC News poll of registered voters meanwhile shows Clinton’s lead holding at six percentage points – 48 per cent to 42 per cent. Kaine, too, has traveled to Middle Eastern and Latin American nations.
The same polling also shows Clinton tied with Trump in Arizona and Georgia.
But a major misstep by Clinton during the upcoming presidential debates, or even a series of terror attacks, could still upend the race. Trump is scheduled to visit Pensacola on Friday.
But both have pledged to refrain from campaigning or advertising that day. “We’re avid readers, we study the issues, study the person, and make an informed decision rather than superficially, and I think a lot of people don’t do that”.
Hillary Clinton’s vice presidential running mate has a background in national security and foreign policy, something some voters might not know.
Kaine also referenced his son’s service in the U.S. Marine Corps to make a personal appeal for a Clinton presidency.
“He has openly encouraged Russian Federation to hack his political opponents and commit espionage against his own country”, Kaine said. Lakeland resident John Lia says he’s undecided about who he supports for president. He’s arguing that Clinton is a president who would have a “steady demeanor, solid judgment and really thick skin”.
Clinton said Trump’s “whole campaign has been one long insult to all those who have worn the uniform” and said, “a man who is so wrong about our veterans isn’t fit to be our commander in chief”.
“He has a weird fascination with strong men and authoritarian leaders in countries that are not allies of the United States”, Kaine said, noting Trump’s unusual relationships with current Russian ruler Vladimir Putin and the late Libyan dictator Moammar Gaddafi. He has talked about letting Syria become a free zone for ISIS.
Donald Trump will call for eliminating the sequester on defense spending and bolstering the US’ defenses by proposing a “major investment” in U.S. military spending in a speech Wednesday morning, his campaign announced Tuesday.
“I just don’t believe she has a presidential look, and you need a presidential look”, he told ABC News anchor David Muir.
Trump promised he would fix bureaucratic problems in the Veterans Administration.
Democrats have pounded Trump on national security and aggressively warned voters that he lacks the temperament to control the world’s most powerful military.
“I’m here to talk about national security, which is the most serious obligation of any president”, Kaine said. She pointed to her endorsements from retired Marine Gen. John Allen, who blasted Trump at the Democratic National Committee, and former Central Intelligence Agency deputy director Mike Morell. “If you want more happy Labour Days, you know who to vote for”, she added. “Eighty-eight generals and admirals endorsed Donald Trump today”.
She took questions for more than 20 minutes on her plane for a second straight day.
“The sign of a great leader is to surround yourself with phenomenal people, and if you look at Trump’s record today – who he put out supporting him – he’s got numerous flag officers who led troops in the field during some of our most heightened recent conflicts”, Reeves said.
And when Peña Nieto wrote on social media that he had raised the issue directly, Kaine said, Trump retaliated by toughening up his own planned immigration speech and launching a “Twitter war” with the US ally. It was viewed as a snub by Chinese officials.
“Ask Trump about that”, said Sen.

Graham and other Republicans in Washington have something to be optimistic about. Ryan spokesman Zack Roday says Pence agreed to speak to them next Tuesday. And as Politico noted, that figure is not a marked increase from two months ago.
