The Libertarian Party – championing limited-government ideals – may seem to be the obvious choice for conservative voters who dislike Trump, but North said disaffected Bernie Sanders supporters have also shown interest in Johnson. In 2012, the Democratic convention was held in early September, so there isn’t an equivalent pre-Labor Day marker, but in the first CNN Poll of Polls compiled completely after the convention ended, Obama stood at 49%, even with Clinton’s post-convention mark, while Romney’s 46% far outpaced Trump’s 39% average in early August.

In a four-way ballot, Clinton still leads Trump by 7 points (42 percent to 35 percent), while Johnson is favored by 9 percent and Stein by 4 percent of voters. The same poll, done by the Tarrance Group and the NRCC, has Clinton ahead of Trump in this district by 3 points. Two very recent polls show dramatic changes in Trump’s fortunes. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Ben Carson both raised more in Montana than Trump, and Sanders collected more in donations there than Clinton.
The New York City real estate mogul’s favorability hit an all-time-high in the national polls at 42 percent, but were short two points of the 45 percent who said that they would vote for Clinton.
White registered voters are in favor of Trump over the Democratic candidate by 13 points.
That leaves many black leaders and voters accusing Trump of peddling stereotypes.
Trump’s abysmal poll numbers among Hispanic voters are a factor House Republicans fear could be a drag in several races around the country.
Tim Kaine headlined 33 fundraisers this month, bringing in a more modest $12 million, according to estimates, meaning together the Clinton-Kaine ticket raise around $80 million at fundraisers they personally headlined. The survey found that Clinton was up 10 points over college-educated whites in the state and tied with the Republican nominee among white women.
North said that high numbers of unaffiliated voters in counties like Arapahoe and Jefferson can be misleading, as majority end up voting with the major parties.
Among young people overall, 47 percent say they think Trump would better handle securing the border, 26 percent say Clinton would, and 18 percent say neither would.

The poll is based on interviews with 803 registered Wisconsin voters by landline or cell phone, conducted from August 25 to 28. The more the voters get exposed to her lies and corruption, the less inclined they are to believe the argument that she’s the safe and sensible choice against the rogue charlatan Trump. Sixty-one percent of all young adults, including 66 percent of whites, 65 percent of Asian-Americans, and 57 percent of African-Americans, say they support increasing government spending on security and enforcement at US borders.
