‘Super Mario’ is coming to the Apple app store
This Mario Bros game will be coming to the iPhone first, and will feature some portrait-style gaming action. This might not be the Mario we were waiting for – but it could be good news anyway.

Apple got its “See You” event off to a blockbuster start with the shock announcment Nintendo’s iconic Mario character is finally coming to the iPhone with his very own game.
The game will be released in time for the holiday season and will be an exclusive to Apple devices it seems, at least initially.
“You can play it while holding on on the subway, while eating a hamburger, or while eating an apple”.
Miyamoto presented a traditional-looking Mario title with endless runner elements.
Miyamoto announced that Super Mario Run would be a paid game, though pricing has yet to be revealed.
Miyamoto did not announce when Super Mario Run would launch, but did state that it would be IAP free, sold for a single price when it launches later this year.

Nintendo still also plans to release iPhone and iPad games based on other franchises, including Animal Crossing. While we wait, the upcoming iOS 10 will include Mario stickers in the messaging app.
