Bachelor in Paradise finale recap: Three rings, one rift

“I’m ready to be a wife and a mother, and that’s what I want with Nick”, she said during the finale, unaware that the future Bachelor has already made a decision to pull the plug on their relationship.

There were three engagements, however.

The reality show spinoff follows “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” alumni as they explore new relationships while living together in a secluded and dreamy Mexican paradise, according to ABC’s show description. The knowledge that three of the four final couples would be engaged creates a huge cloud over the season finale.

Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton are also madly in love, and Josh has moved to Orange County to be with Amanda and her daughters.

Grant needs some time to figure out his feelings, to which Lace responds with her first logical thought: “Why did we get tattoos if you’re just going to wake up the next morning and question if we should be engaged or not?”

“We just couldn’t really get past ‘Paradise, ‘ and friends call him often”, Caila said, hinting about Jared’s relationship with Ashley Iaconetti. In an interview with InTouch, he gave his opinion on soon-to-be Bachelor Nick Viall, and he didn’t hold back. He said, “I believe you”.

Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton were not the only ones to get engaged on Bachelor In Paradise. It appears the ability to rock a crop top does not always get you the man.

However, it appears, Nick is not yet ready to stay committed in a relationship as he found it hard to say “I love you”. He asked Tiara if she could give him the date card so he can go out with Jen to the carnival. “But mostly, I love you when you’re Lace”. If Evan needed to fake a hospital injury to win over Carly, who am I to judge?

“I just want to marry him, whether that’s in a church, in a winery, on TV or tomorrow!” It’s the most wonderful, inexplicable, mind blowing thing that I just never in a million years thought I would get.

The most controversial couple, Josh and Amanda, were saved for last.

Meanwhile, Jen and Nick are doing the same and for the same reason.

Josh mused about not getting engaged right away because of Amanda’s kids, but it was just a smokescreen.

The proposal: During the proposal on the ABC show, Evan told Carly: “My love for you has only got stronger”. It’s true that Jen has been rather boring this season and they just met, like, 10 days ago, but this feels unusually cruel to her. Let us know on Twitter.
