Trump neck and neck with Clinton as early voting looms
“I believe I’m the best person for this job and I believe they’re going to keep coming after me”, Mrs Clinton told reporters.

Trump’s vice presidential running mate, Mike Pence, the governor of IN, said Sunday that he would release his own tax returns this week, but made it clear that Trump may keep his under wraps until after Election Day, Nov. 8.
Mrs Hillary Clinton welcomed the press corps on her plane on Monday as she debuted her new campaign aircraft for the final two-month sprint to the presidential election against Republican rival Donald Trump.
The Washington Post reported that U.S. authorities were probing a covert Russian operation that included a cyber-attack on voter registration systems in Arizona.
Also troubling for Clinton is that she trails Trump in the category of honest and trustworthiness – 50 to 35 percent.
“And when Donald Trump says “I know more than the generals” – really?”
And Clinton said she would not discuss until after the election any further changes in the structure of the Clinton Foundation, including whether her daughter Chelsea should remain on the board if Clinton wins the White House.
According to Cass, if Trump is elected, Republicans aren’t the only ones to blame.
The forum in NY will allow both campaigns to shift their messages to national security, a major topic for voters given the threat of Islamist militants, China’s military activities in the South China Sea, and nuclear-armed North Korea’s ballistic missile tests.
Hillary Clinton’s running mate Kaine spoke earlier in the day in Wilmington about national security.
“Ultimately, She’s a get things done person”, said Holton, of Clinton.
“It speaks to Texas’ diverse new majority and them understanding which party is fighting for them”, said Manny Garcia, Executive Director for the Texas Democratic Party.
His own temperament, Trump said, was his “single greatest asset” and not the national security danger that Clinton alleges.
Clinton rallied supporters at a voter registration event in swing state Florida, while the billionaire real estate mogul held a townhall meeting with military veterans before heading to North Carolina for an evening campaign rally.
The candidates have just 20 days before the first of three scheduled presidential debates – expected to be the most watched moments of an already raucous campaign.
Separately, Trump continued to face questions about his immigration policy a day after refusing to rule out a pathway to legal status for immigrants in the country illegally.
Tuesday morning, the New York Times published an article announcing that 88 retired military officers signed a letter supporting Trump.
She added: “He’s very loose in his talk about nukes”.

The start of full-fledged campaigning opens a pivotal month, culminating in the first presidential debate September 26 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. “For this reason, we support Donald Trump’s candidacy to be our next commander-in-chief”. Together, Kaine said, the pair would make a president and vice president who are informed and well-versed in foreign policy.
