Eoin Morgan risking England future if he does not tour Bangladesh – Pietersen
“It is a case of one in, all in so if he does not go he will have a red cross next to his name as far as the bosses at the England and Wales Cricket Board are concerned”, added Pietersen, England’s captain when they continued with their 2008 tour of India following the Mumbai terror attacks.

Pietersen, in his Daily Telegraph column on Tuesday (September 6), however, said that Morgan had no choice but to travel.
“That’s just the same as if someone gets injured, you are out of possession of that spot in the team for a certain period of time, and if someone does really well then you can’t give any guarantees. They reckon they’ll overcook themselves on the amount provided”.
Asked how big a setback it would be for England if Morgan were to rule himself out, Strauss said: “Would I like both our captains to be on that tour?”
England are due to play three one-day internationals and two Tests in Bangladesh between October 7 and November 1.
“The captain has certain roles and responsibilities that are greater than just looking after themselves. he obviously has a duty to the team”.
“If selected, I will definitely go”, Jordan told a news conference at Old Trafford ahead of England’s Twenty20 global against Pakistan at the Manchester ground on Wednesday.
“But that’s a choice people have to make themselves, and they have to weigh up all sorts of different things when they come to this decision. That’s fine – that’s their decision”.
England cricket bosses were handed a boost by all-rounder Chris Jordan after he categorically confirmed his intention to tour Bangladesh this winter despite ongoing security concerns.
“It is hard. I was involved in two or three sides where we had to have similar kinds of meetings and all sorts goes through your mind, but we are there to play cricket”. “I can not see us going anywhere but from strength to strength”.
“I still hope the reassurances we’ve given them over safety are enough to get them on that plane”.
“I’m having some good communication with (England selector) James Whitaker and England about how they are viewing him and how close he is”, Northamptonshire coach David Ripley told the BBC on Monday regarding Duckett’s prospects of a full global call-up.
The long-established “Barmy Army” has explained to its customers that plans for an organised trip are in abeyance – and advises that, unless supporters can avail themselves of the same security as the European Central Bank, it may be unwise to travel independently.
Steve Smith, the office manager for the Barmy Army which organises fans’ tours to England away series, said in a statement: “Our view is that supporters should apply the same criteria as the European Central Bank to the tour”.

Jordan has faith in the security measures that will be put into place and is happy with the all-clear given by the ECB’s security delegation.
