Do you think Yeezy has ill-motive or simply exercising his artistic voice and vision?

Naturally, immediately after he tweeted out the information, plenty of folks on gave their opinions on the guidelines of his casting call – all mostly giving him the ultimate side eye while simultaneously ripping him to shreds.

Sure, one can interpret it along the lines of affirmative action, granting casting preference to minority, non-white women. @kanye, a fan account, tweeted on September 3.

One Twitter user posted: “This is a major issue”. He also asked that the models not wear any makeup and instead just “come as you are”. “You can be multiracial and have dark skin tones or pale skin tones”.

Others agreed, arguing that West had simply found “another way [of] saying “only light skinned women please” and that, “In a Kanye West world there is no place for black women”. And “Hmm @ multiracial women only”.

West didn’t go off on the mic at all but he did sing a very meta song called, “I Love Kanye” where he showed some growth as he raps, “I hate the new Kanye, the bad mood Kanye”.

Kanye [West] is Kanye-ing once again y’all, and we don’t mean in the form of a Twitter rant.

“I’ve been wanting to model for a really long time now and it’s just exposure”.

West is expected to host his Yeezy Season 4 runway show on Wednesday 7 September, 2016 as part of New York Fashion Week. Another said: “I’m here to see who’s fake mad”.

Another hopeful, Saima, headed straight to the audition from work as she was determined not to miss out, having been too late for Kanye’s open casting last season.
