Sia releases new music video, a tribute to the 49 Pulse victims
Days after premiering her new single “The Greatest”, Sia has performed the track live at Apple’s latest product launch event. Whether The Greatest music video is a tribute or not, it is clearly so much more than the average video accompaniment.

The video for the song “The Greatest” shows 13-year-old Maddie Ziegler, who frequently appears in Sia music videos, crying rainbow tears.
The teen leads 48 other children in a dance routine through the halls of a run-down building. Apple has worked with so many artists, including Taylor Swift, 26, but it was Sia, 40, who took the stage to sing, and obviously, it was epic.
Award-winning singer Sia is flexing her Top Dawg muscle this week.
Though Sia hasn’t spoken publicly about the video, Matt Moseley, a dancer who appears in the video, posted on Instagram, saying: “49 lovely lives lost”. The group of dancers all collapse in a heap to reveal a wall riddled with what looks like bullet holes behind them.

Still, not one to deny the harshest of harsh realities, Sia ends the video with over a full minute of showing that those people still died for no reason, they’re still gone, and sadly, nothing can ever bring them back. “This is for you”.
