For Bill Clinton, hitting Trump’s foundation is ‘personal’

Attorneys general from other states had said they couldn’t defend bans on adoption by same-sex couples or LGBT individuals, saying they were unconstitutional.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) assessed Trump a $2,500 penalty for the illegal and improper donation. Her office subsequently declined to join Schneiderman’s lawsuit, citing insufficient grounds to proceed. It also flips a big narrative of the campaign: Trump has long accused Clinton of pay-to-play politics, and now he’s under scrutiny for the same.

The Sept. 7 complaint implores the IRS to “investigate the Trump Foundation and, should it find that the foundation violated its tax-exempt status or other provisions of the tax code and federal law, take appropriate action”.

Clinton, however, didn’t speak Wednesday of the controversy surrounding his own family foundation, which has come under fire regarding its own pay-to-play allegations.

Unlikely. Huffington Post disclosed late Tuesday that Trump subsequently allowed Bondi to use his sumptuous Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach for a $3,000-a-head re-election fundraiser in March 2014, just months after she dropped the fraud probe. And even when the new information serves to exonerate Clinton rather than implicate her in wrongdoing, the coverage still emphasizes that the whole thing just “raises questions” about her integrity. Ray also said the office never gave any thought to joining in the NY attorney general’s case. Instead, staff, doing due diligence, reviewed the complaints and the NY litigation and made the proper determination that the NY litigation would provide relief to aggrieved consumers nationwide.

“I never spoke to her, first of all”, said Trump, explaining his donation, according to the Post.

The Clintons are facing a growing backlash that too little has been accomplished in the past five years and that some of the most high-profile projects they have backed – including a just-opened Marriott, another luxury hotel and the industrial park – have helped foreign investors and Haiti’s wealthy elites more than its poor.

“Many of the attorney generals turned that case down. And he got a deal to not be investigated in an area that’s a real weak spot, and that’s Trump University“. When I need something from them, two years later, three years later, I call them. Trump still says he wants to reopen the school once the legal battles are resolved. “I don’t think this was a lengthy, memorable call”, Hicks told the AP.

Donald Trump has said he has a secret plan for defeating ISIS if elected president, and that “I know more about ISIS than the generals do”.

“In the case of Mr. Trump and Attorney General [Bondi], they both said that they [had] never discussed the Trump University lawsuit”, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said on ABC’s “Good Morning America”.

O’DONNELL: That was previous year.

Excerpt: “In light of the suspicions hanging over Donald Trump and Pam Bondi, the Florida attorney general, this opening quote from her Republican National Convention speech is particularly rich. ‘Nov”.

For instance, there was only one mention of this story on any of the five Sunday shows, when John Dickerson asked Chris Christie about it on “Face the Nation” (Christie took great umbrage: “I can’t believe, John, that anyone would insult Pam Bondi that way”). She’s a fine person.

At a campaign rally in Tampa, Clinton knocked Trump’s national security credentials and touted her own experience as secretary of state and as a USA senator representing NY.
