It was announced on Facebook that during the event Lynn’s fans could tour the singer’s large ranch and home along with a tour of the “Coal Miner’s Daughter” museum over the long holiday weekend.
According to a statement on Lynn’s official website, her injuries were not serious, but she will have to have minor surgery, and she will stay off the road until she’s made a full recovery on the advice of her doctors. Her injuries were described as not serious, but a statement posted on her website on Wednesday, Sept. 7, said her doctors have advised her to stay off the road until shes made a full recovery.
“Loretta Lynn is a living legend in country music and we were so excited about having her in Bristol”, said Leah Ross, Executive Director of the Birthplace of Country Music, the parent organization of the festival.
Loretta Lynn is doing better after cancelling her Labor Day concert and Jason Aldean talks about his CMA snub again. She canceled after she suffered a fall earlier in the week.
