Seahawks see Rawls, Michael as dynamic running back duo
Fantasy Impact It looks like Rawls is going to start, but Christine Michael could see more carries depending on the game situation and how Rawls looks.

Then, Tuesday, when Seattle’s first official depth chart was released, it featured Graham as the starter with no injury limitations. But it was also an affirmation that even though Rawls is expected to be the Seahawks’ primary ball carrier this season, Michael has done enough since the end of past year to earn himself a share of the time in the backfield.
Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell said of Rawls and Jimmy Graham, the latter of whom appears increasingly likely to play Sunday, that “they’re not going to go 70 plays, we know that we have to monitor what they’re going to do. I’ve got that understanding too, but I think all in all over the course of the long season that we have, I think it’s better to have guys that can feed off one another and I’ve always enjoyed that, I have no problem with it”. He’s done everything that we’ve asked of him, so I like that. Rawls was a star last season filling in while Marshawn Lynch was injured, running for 830 yards before breaking his ankle in a December game against Baltimore. While he has been progressing from the injury, it was originally believed he would miss the season opener after sitting out the entire preseason. In the first three preseason games, Michael averaged 6.5 yards per carry, a gaudy number.

Fantasy Spin: There is little doubt Rawls will play in Week 1, but the Seahawks continue to stress his limited workload. If so, we wouldn’t expect to see Rawls play more than 15 snaps. Those roles should essentially flip, if what Carroll says is true. “That would be the only restriction is how he’s taking the rigors of the game”.
