Jon Stewart Will Host WWE’s SummerSlam

It’s proof WWE has found itself in a bit of a bind and forced to rely on The Undertaker’s return to the ring and Brock Lesnar’s star power as a way to justify a four hour run time for SummerSlam. Tonight, they can touch on Owens’ plan to win back his NXT Championship from Finn Balor on Saturday at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn and then prove that he is better than Cesaro on Sunday. The brawl became huge when all the other wrestlers in attendance joined the fray to break apart Lesnar from the Undertaker.

Stewart, a longtime WWE fan, appeared earlier this year in WWE storylines via an on-going feud with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. The Cenation leader appeared on Tough Enough last Tuesday and accepted “The Architect’s” challenge for SummerSlam. Well, here are the eight biggest reasons why there’s only one way this epic rematch should end less than one week from now…

Further down the card, Rollins’ former Shield stablemates Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose will team up to take on the reformed Wyatt family, Bray and Luke Harper, while Kevin Owens and Cesaro will tussle in what could be the sleeper hit of the night. “It’s WWE. Anything can happen”.

Big Show vs. The Miz vs. Ryback – The Intercontinental championship is on the line and these three guys will battle it out for the same.

The Divas Revolution is also sure to continue as Nikki Bella reaches Day 267 as Divas Champion and Paige will look to make a splash on her 23rd birthday.

Most have pontificated over the years that the WWE needs competition and many within the WWE, like Show have openly said it. Yet the WWE is determined to shut down any sense of competition that comes its way.
