Don’t get rid of them just yet: Apple was quick to make clear that an adapter for the company’s proprietary Lightning port will allow you to use your old analog headphones with the new iPhone models and that the adapter will be included with new 7 and 7 Plus purchases.

You’ll be pleased to hear that Apple confirmed the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will have the best batteries on any iPhone to date (although most of us will still nearly certainly blitz it to death in a matter of months) and for the first time we’ll be getting stereo speakers. In 2012 with the iPhone 5, Apple removed the then-standard 30-pin connector in favor of the smaller Lightning port. Apple has yet to give any indication that headphone jacks will disappear from other products, like Macs and iPads. The iPhone 7 Plus will come with two camera lenses: a wide angle lens and a telephoto lens, which should let owners take better photos while zooming.

You can pre order it on 9th September and 16th September is the official date you’ll be able to get your hands on one! But mostly, the company sees wireless audio as the future. “And we’re going to include that in the box with every iPhone 7 and 7 plus as well”.

The newly announced Apple AirPods.

The company also used Wednesday’s showcase to introduce a new generation of its smartwatches, which will include Global Positioning System tracking and enough water resistance to swim with. Until now. Apple just finished this year’s eternity-long keynote address – where the CEO of Apple highlighted new features with upcoming models of iPhones, Apple watches, and airpods all damn day – and the internet has questions. Outside the two new black exterior options, the main difference is in a more useful home button. Now Apple has decided it can offer the 32GB model for the same price. Pokemon GO is coming to the Apple Watch, so the craze continues.

After so many rumors and reports, the new iPhone is finally here.

Fans also mocked Apple’s use of the word “courage” when announced the move. The iPhone 7 will cost $649 and it’ll be $769 for the iPhone 7 Plus, or about $30 per month if you finance it.

The iPhone 7 is launching on September 13.
